It is a great day to get married. Many popular wedding venues book up months in advance. This was the case with our bride yesterday! Britney wanted to get married at The Belle Meade Plantation and there were no available weekends in March.
Britney began planning her wedding while stationed in Afghanistan. She found us online and we sent her our venue list via email. The bride and groom wanted to get married in March of 2012, which was almost a year away. We were able to help her with many of the details and offered her vendor referrals. Like many brides from out of town, she looked to us recommendations.
There are advantages to a wedding on a Monday (or any week day). Venues will often offer discounted rates for non-weekend events. Also, if you are coming from out of town it gives you time to enjoy the city and spend extra time with guests the weekend before. Wedding are a great time to connect and re-connect with friends and family, but Brides often are too busy and rushed to fully enjoy it!

Chicken is a favorite at Menu Maker. We have it listed on our menu 90
different ways. It is obvious that we can customize it to your taste! One of
our favorites is grilled chicken.
What makes our grilled chicken the best? We use boneless, skinless chicken
breast for the best flavor and quality. It is marinated with fresh garlic,
oil, and lot of spices. These things add flavor and help to keep it moist.
The key to great chicken is not over cooking it! There is nothing worse than
dry, rubbery chicken. Depending on the recipe and customer, we also might
add fruit juice, wine or soy sauce to our marinade.
Next, we grill the chicken over an open flame until it's cooked to
perfection. The chicken is tender, juicy and ready to serve. If we are
serving chicken in a buffet, we often will add a homemade glaze or sauce.
Our favorites: peach lacquered chicken or chicken florentine. Our chicken
florentine is made with fresh cream, spinach and parmesan cheese.
