Wedding Contract Agreement
Your catered event is a business agreement. Menu Maker agrees to serve your guests and do everything possible to ensure your event
is special. In turn, you agree to guarantee the number of guests to be served and a final count is due no later than two weeks prior to the event.
We will prepare food and set tables for 5 percent more than your guaranteed number to ensure a gracious plenty for your guests. You will be charged for your guaranteed number or the actual number served, whichever is greater. Portion sizes are based on averages. If you believe your group will eat large portions, you should alert us to this fact early on. Extra food will be provided and the charges will be adjusted accordingly. Due to health regulations and liability, we cannot supply the client with the leftover food. No outside food or non-alcoholic beverages are allowed.
We understand that changes other than the count are sometimes necessary and unavoidable; however, we must have adequate time to make adjustments to ensure our staff is able to execute the event as planned. Changes made may affect pricing such as set-up due to weather, service type, length of event and specific issues related to the venue.
It is important to book your catered event well in advance. We accept checks or MasterCard, Visa and American Express, and can handle this over the phone or in person. A deposit of 50% is required to hold the date and is non-refundable. Full payment must be received one week prior to the event.
We will invoice you two weeks prior to the event. The final bill will include sales tax unless a tax exempt form showing your tax exempt status is received. A 20% operational fee for full-service events will be charged. The full service amount covers expenses incurred to bring the party to the location, ie: transportation, kitchen personnel, administration cost, event, kitchen and buffet equipment, buffet setup, paper goods and cleanup, etc. Servers/Staff will be added depending on the menu and site requirements.
If the client fails to pay any payments when due prior to the date of the Event, this Agreement may be cancelled or rejected by Menu Maker Catering. Client agrees that Caterer shall not thereafter be obligated to provide any services hereunder.
Menu Maker shall not be responsible for inability to provide food or other services due to inclement weather or acts of God (including, without limitation, fire, flood or earthquake).
We require you to review the menu proposal for accuracy and approval. Electronically signing below indicates that you have done so and have read and agree to our policies and pricing.
